The B2K Training Academy will be hosting Basic Bearings Knowledge Level 1 training courses at our distribution hubs in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban in March and April 2022.
The benefit of attending these courses is that customers can send staff members for training at a much lower cost than booking an exclusive training course for their company. Booking an exclusive course makes economic sense for customers training 10 or more staff members.
Courses will be hosted at our B2K branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban on various dates (see below) in March and April 2022.

Course Objectives:
The purpose of the B2K Basic Bearings Level 1 course is designed to ultimately enhance skills and awareness for entry level maintenance staff.
It serves to upskill your team on the correct procedures when handling bearings for mounting and dismounting and improve the overall quality of workmanship on rotating equipment and the maintenance thereof, maximising the bearing lifespan and machine reliability.
Duration:
2 days and will comprise of theory only. As such, programs will take the form of classroom training.
Attendees:
Artisan, semi-skilled employees, machine operators, and staff members in learnership programs.

• Bearing types, functions and parts, radial and axial loads
• Bearing Identification
• Application guidelines
• Storage and handling of bearings
• Bearing lubrication
• Mounting and dismounting practices
• Introduction to bearing failure and their causes
