Bearings 2000 (B2K) has acquired the stock and assets of IWIS Drive Systems (IWIS) South Africa and will take over the distribution of the IWIS brands across Sub-Saharan Africa. The deal follows IWIS’ decision to exit the South African market.

This marks a significant milestone for B2K, emphasising our commitment to expanding and strengthening our power transmission offerings in the region. 

B2K managing director, Ross Trevelyan, says, “We see the expansion as a strategic enhancement of our power transmission capabilities, opening up vast opportunities in the sectors and regions in which we operate.” 

B2K’s customer base stands to benefit from the addition of IWIS’s world-class brands:
