Released from Japan in 2019, the esteemed COC brand from Crossocean provides spherical roller bearing (SRB) units as well as a range of stainless steel ball-bearing units offering innovative new designs and features to operate under the toughest applications.
The spherical roller offer includes COC’s patented CROSSLOC™ adaptor locking system with SN & SAF SRB dimension units that are unitised replacements for standard SN & SAF split housing units. 100% interchangeable with competitive SN & SAF products, COC SRB units are shaft ready and factory sealed, pre-lubricated, and assembled. This serves as a versatile off-the-shelf solution that saves both time and money.
The COC 100% stainless steel washdown ball bearing units have achieved IP69K certification and represent a relubrication-free solution for food safety programs. COC’s new concentric OCCLOC™, 8 slot locking system does not damage shafting and is easy to mount and dismount. OCCLOC has great holding power despite the undersized commercial shafting.
QR CODED PRODUCTS
Every COC product is coded with a QR Barcode that can be scanned with a smartphone and internet access. In addition, it provides the user all the details of that specific unit including technical details, dimensions, drawings, fitting instructions, and videos. This feature makes reordering easy as part identification is simplified.
COC SRB
The COC SRB is designed to simplify the installation procedure while ensuring user safety and enhancing bearing life owing to the following product features:
- CROSSLOC™ is the most effective means to mount and dismount adapter sleeves. Installation requires mere tightening of the mounting cap screws with a hex key and torque wrench, while dismounting simply entails loosening the cap screws so the bearing is dismounted from the sleeve. This reduces downtime and errors on account of design and installation simplicity. What’s more, the simple collar mount option is also available.
- COC’s triple-lip full contact seal maintains full contact even with the shaft misaligned at any angle, thereby enhancing bearing life. Moreover, the unit has a Labyrinth seal arrangement option for high-speed applications.
- CROSSLOC™ achieves superior shaft contact over any other locking system. The full contact of the adapter sleeve improves running characteristics and reduces vibration and potential accidents.
COC SANILINE
In the food and beverage industry where hygiene and washdown are a constant, the COC Saniline takes on the associated challenges:
- The COC Saniline stainless units are IP69K certified and lubricated for life maintenance-free units. Maintenance-free bearings ensure grease is not washed out or purged which can result in bacterial growth and product contamination.
- COC’s original OCCLOC™ does not allow any damage to the shafting.
- COC stand-off housings allow for clean-in-place (CIP) operation. They have mostly 1/2” stand-off clearance to meet HACCP/HARPC compliance.
