Bearings 2000’s proactive approach to COVID-19
To all our valued stakeholders,
Bearings 2000 has taken judicious steps to educate our valued staff and stakeholders on insights concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19). As the health and wellbeing of our staff and stakeholders is of paramount importance, preventative measures have been put into immediate effect and will be updated on a regular basis.
On Friday, 13 March 2020, we hosted a training workshop in our training centre and branches to create awareness and provide preventative measures our valued staff and stakeholders can implement.

Informative information packs were handed to all staff and posters put on the walls around the office. These posters and information packs can be viewed and downloaded here;
We urge everyone to remain calm by exercising caution and following the guidelines regarding personal hygiene, when to seek medical assistance and other preventive measures.
Bearings 2000 has various contingency plans in place should our supply lines be affected further by the virus to ensure continuity of supply to our loyal customers. In addition, we have made provisions for our staff to work remotely to ensure a business-as-usual approach should it be required. Moreover, we have employed an additional dedicated cleaner to use industrial grade solutions to disinfect all high-risk areas in and around the offices on a continuous basis until the risk of the virus is contained. We have also provided alcohol-based sanitising sprays, gels and hand washes around the offices.
We do not want to overreact but do want to take reasonable and proactive steps to protect the health and safety of our Bearings 2000 family. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We wholeheartedly hope the virus will be contained globally and wish you and your loved ones all the best during this trying time.
