As a proudly South African company, we are delighted to announce that Bearings 2000 has been accredited with Level 1 B-BBEE (broad-based black economic empowerment) status.

Our country’s growth and development is vital to us and we are proud to be able to contribute to this.

Skills development at the core

Skills development is a key focus for our business, from both an internal and an external perspective. Our dedication to this can be seen in the introduction of our state-of-the-art training centre and the roll out of our internship programme

“Enabling growth and transformation in our company culture and local community is important to us.” says Bearings 2000 sales director, Michael Stamatiadis.

He shares, “For example, through our internship programme and with the help of our team, we have created opportunities to benefit the youth in less advantaged communities to ensure we can all grow together. Our interns have shown positive growth through their participation in the programme and have each found their own unique role within Bearings 2000. This benefits them as individuals, and it benefits us as we have new, skilled employees.”

What does this accreditation mean for our customers?

You now receive 135% BEE procurement recognition by purchasing from us.

Thank you to all who have contributed to making this important milestone possible. We will continue to work towards making South Africa a great country for all her people.
